1. Re: Web Content Hangs When Not Accessed For Period Of Time
olisa Sep 4, 2003 3:24 AM (in response to chadlavy)Hi,
i have the same problem on JBoss 3.2.1/Jetty on Linux. The servlets in the .war work. But all the stylesheets and images cannot be accessed after a couple of days. There are no error-messages in the logfiles. I have to redeploy the app.
If you find a solution, please send me an mail at "olisa at gmx.net" -
2. Re: Web Content Hangs When Not Accessed For Period Of Time
jonlee Sep 4, 2003 7:17 AM (in response to chadlavy)Jetty puts materialises the content to the /tmp directory. Linux clears the /tmp directory via some cron jobs. Move this temporary content storage to a directory that will not get cleared by cron.
You can add to JAVA_OPTS:
-Djava.io.tmpdir=/some_temp_dir
to move the data to /some_temp_dir.
Modify this for your requirements. -
