Problem configuring ajax4jsf! Application does not initializ

Hi everyone,

I'm new using Ajax4jsf and I've got a big problem trying to initialize my
existing jsf project with ajax4jsf.
I just put the ajax4jsf-1.1.0.jar file in my
WEB-INF/lib directory and I've got the following error
when initializing tomcat:

SEVERE: Error listenerStart
15/03/2007 10:06:55 org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext start
SEVERE: Context [/sigaProcesso] startup failed due to previous errors
OBS.: I didn't put the filter mapping in my web.xml file yet because I get
the same problem if I do this.

I think it's a kind of conflict between my jars files. But I don't know :)

Beyond the ajax4jsf I'm using just jsf.

Just drop one jar is not enough. At least, it should be two jar files and a couple of records in the web.xml. Please, read the documentation.

I got the same problem too!

My application server is Tomcat 6.0.10 with Sun JSF RI 1.2 (jsf-1.2_04-b10-p01).

Before adding Ajax4jsf functionality, it works fine.

I followed the steps in http://labs.jboss.com/file-access/default/members/jbossajax4jsf/freezone/docs/devguide/Installation.html,
copy two jar files into WEB-INF/lib and give some setup in WEB-INF/web.xml,
but "Error listenerStart ..." message occurred after deploying a simple ajax4jsf web application.

so, you have commons-logging.jar missing. Add it to your library set.

Except commons-logging.jar,
I have to add other files such as
commons-digester.jar
commons-collections.jar
commons-beanutils.jar

After adding those jar files into WEB-INF/lib, it works.
