jboss 3.2.3 cleans out the compiled jsp's

every time i stop and restart jboss it removes all of the compiled jsp's from the ${jboss.root}/server/default/work directory.

this is a huge headache during development as i don't want to recompile all my jsp page evertime i restart the server.

is there any way to disable this "feature"
