uromahn Dec 7, 2004 11:57 AM (in response to uromahn)So, what exactly does that mean? Do I have to use 3.2.3 with Tomcat 4.1.x then?

acoliver Jan 19, 2005 5:01 PM (in response to uromahn)its rather hard to imagine that moving to TC 5 is a longer path than backporting TC4.

5. Re: Integrating Tomcat 4.1.30 with JBoss 3.2.6
anil.saldhana Jan 19, 2005 5:46 PM (in response to uromahn)Tomcat 4.x is no longer developed/supported by the Jakarta development team. So there is no point in having your web apps stuck to TC 4.x
Can you tell me why your app does not work on TC 5? What features of TC 4.x did you app marry into?
In the long run, your web apps should be as portable as possible. -
6. Re: Integrating Tomcat 4.1.30 with JBoss 3.2.6
uromahn Jan 19, 2005 8:24 PM (in response to uromahn)I have started to migrate our application to Tomcat 5.
Some of the basic issues with the application was that it was not 100% implemented according the J2EE standard and hence was broken after the upgrade to Tomcat 5.
This is currently being changed and the application will work on Tomcat 5.
Cheers,
