Integrating JBoss with Apache Reverse Proxy

    rnair

We currently have Apache (Ver 1.3) in Reverse Proxy mode. I am interested in communicating with JBoss 4.0.1 (using Tomcat 5.0). JBoss has an HTTP Connector and a AJP1.3 Connector. Currently, I am using the HTTP Connector (Port # 6666) to access the JMX Console.
Should I be using the AJP Connector in JBoss to communicate with Apache (which is in reverse proxy mode) or should I be using an HTTP Connector?
I do know that if I use the AJP Connector, I need to install mod_jk1.2 in Apache.

I am new to JBoss. Your feedback is appreciated.

      Sincerely,
