The deleting of all generated files for JSP is a stupid behavior to "fix" another issue. -

javidjamae Jul 1, 2006 5:48 PM (in response to tsangcn)I'm assuming that you're referring to the removal of the files in the work directory after a shutdown. Apparently this was added as a "feature", but I think of it as a bug because the work directory is also the default directory that Tomcat uses to write the serialized HTTP sessions to a file (if enabled). I opened an issue on this:
