2. Re: ajax4jsf 1.1 RC2 - session serialization write error
sosella Mar 26, 2007 5:00 PM (in response to sosella)I just downloaded the jboss-ajax4jsf 1.1.0 JAR file (via zip) and the error is still occurring.
The java.io.NotSerializableException is occurring at both shutdown (writing) and at startup (loading) for org.ajax4jsf.framework.ajax.AjaxContext
My bean objects are not serializable. Do they have to be? -

7. Re: ajax4jsf 1.1 RC2 - session serialization write error
sosella Apr 4, 2007 4:06 PM (in response to sosella)1) I downloaded the WAR file for the a4j-status example, 2) started Tomcat so that it expanded the example WAR file, 3) Stopped Tomcat, 4) Replaced the ajax4jsf JAR file in the expanded lib folder, and 5) restarted Tomcat. However, how do you enable logging?

8. Re: ajax4jsf 1.1 RC2 - session serialization write error
alexsmirnov Apr 4, 2007 5:28 PM (in response to sosella)AjaxContext is request-scope object , and it is not saved in the session.
Message "session attribute org.apache.myfaces.custom.redirectTracker.RedirectTrackerManager " - this seems like attempt of MyFaces framework to store request-scope attributes in session to handle http redirects.
It's a Myfaces bug, as far as request parameters don't require implements of Serialisable.
