1. Re: Where to put custom login module .jar
mennok Sep 27, 2001 2:04 AM (in response to jpvasquez)The location of your module in the jboss/lib dir is fine.
You must modify your startup script (run.bat / run.sh) to include your login module jar.
# Add all login modules for JAAS-based security
# and all libraries that are used by them here
JBOSS_CLASSPATH=$JBOSS_CLASSPATH:../lib/.jar
I've used this and it works fine!
Good luck

3. Re: Where to put custom login module .jar
p_d_austin Sep 27, 2001 10:08 AM (in response to jpvasquez)The best way to do this is put it in the lib/ext and then use the ProxyLogin module to load your module in auth.conf. This will resolve the classloader issues.
ned {
org.jboss.security.auth.spi.ProxyLoginModule required
moduleName=com.nhigh.user.spi.EJBLoginModule
moduleparam=value
;

jpvasquez Sep 27, 2001 10:19 AM (in response to jpvasquez)Very nice...even better! That works just fine, and I don't have to worry about one more file to double-check next time I upgrade....
