JAAS Problem with Standalone Catalina

I am experiencing the same old problem everyone else is, i.e. Principal=Null on a call to a secured EJB, using a standalone version of Catalina against JBoss 3. I am using the javaworld demo which causes this problem. Can anyone supply me with a Demo that does work for this env. It is such a same that so many people are having similar problems with Jboss. A single howto covering a number of examples as an EAR/WAR would be so helpful and would raise the profile of Jboss in this area. Do Jboss some justice please.

Get the quickstart document and search
for ClientLoginModule, the rest is just
a standard Jaas login.

Thanks for the reference.

Its now working. What I had neglected to do was create an auth.conf for catalina and include a reference to it in the java bootup call.

IE:
$tomcat_home/con/auth.conf:

example2 {
org.jboss.security.ClientLoginModule required;
};

and

catalina.bat

-Djava.security.auth.login.config=\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\conf\auth.conf
