Does anyone know how to implement Certificate Based Login (for both Web and other clients). This question has been repeated a number of times by various people (since 2001), but know one seems to reply.
What is the mechanism and how do you implement it?
Ok, I understand that you would probably create a new LoginModule. How do you go about it if the certificate is stored on a card? Do you create a new ClientLoginModule? How do you certify that the Certificate is OK?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anyone that really knows?
I thought I saw some example code of such a login module somewhere but I can't seem to find it.
