Has anyone ever tried to integrate JBoss security with a TACACS server for authentication? If so, any information/code/known issues would be appreciated.
If not, I'm wondering why not - doesn't it make any sense?
It appears interesting to me because we plan to use a TACACS server to manage user credentials for network elements such as routers etc, and are deploying a JBoss server into the same environment. Therefore a JBoss TACACS login module would seem to provide a way to integrate the user/password management of both - if this conclusion is not reasonable please advise why.
