How to initiate a Logout ?

I have a JBoss/Tomcat EJB/Web application using the JBossSX JAAS security infrastructure.
I a bit confused about how to impelement a Logout option.
On some page in my web app, I want to put a logout link. How do it in terms of JBoss/JAAS ? What APIs should I call and from where?

session.invalidate()
The servlet standard mandates that invalidating the (http) session will also logout the user.
