j_security_check with 3.2.3 and Tomcat

Hello,
I have successfully deployed an application using FORM login, j_security_check and LDAPLoginModule. Is there any way to extract j_password attribute upon a successful login. I have read articles about using filters, using hidden frames and I can't get any of these to work. I am using Jboss 3.2.3 that comes bundled with Tomcat.

Any help would be appreciated.

You have to subclass the ldap login module or provide some other low level integration with the web container like a tomcat valve to gain access to this information. Its not available through standard servlet apis.
