norman.richards Aug 24, 2005 11:56 AM (in response to smileyq)The DVD Store (see http://www.jboss.com/docs/trailblazer) has an example of using FORM based login with JSF using DatabaseServerLoginModule for authentication.
I don't understand why you are writing JAAS callback handlers or anything like that. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? -

smileyq Aug 24, 2005 12:11 PM (in response to smileyq)Do I not even need to write Callbackhandlers if I'm using the JBossSX implementation? I must be over doing it as usual. And thank you so very much for the link.

smileyq Aug 25, 2005 12:09 PM (in response to smileyq)I was able to implement the DatabaseServerLoginModule without any problems but now I face a different problem. While the use of JAAS(JBossSX) has really simplified my life as far and Authentication goes it has also caused me some problems. I would like it when the user logs on for the users creditials to be loaded into an object and then placed into the session so I can keep track of what the user is doing throughout the application. What would be the best method to do this?
