isUserInRole returns false

Hi everyone,

I am currently using jboss 4.0.0 in my app and using the JAAS security.
I'm not having problem in logging in. The issue is when i tried to check the role of the user it always return false even when the role name is the one i'm camparing. But when i tried to deploy my application in jboss 3.xxxx its returns true. Can anybaody explain why this happening.

Can you give us more info. Where are you trying to check role of user, How are you trying to check the role of user. Tell us about your security configuration.
