    SOAP Message not being encrypted using JBoss enabled SSL

    johnvarghese

      Hello Friends,
      We have enabled SSL in JBoss 4.0.2 by editing the file <JBOSS_HOME>\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\server.xml and uncommenting the following entry:

      <Connector port="8443" address="${jboss.bind.address}"
       maxThreads="100" strategy="ms" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192"
       emptySessionPath="true"
       scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false"
       keystoreFile="${jboss.server.home.dir}/conf/chap8.keystore"
       keystorePass="rmi+ssl" sslProtocol = "TLS" />

      However, on viewing the message flow using ethereal, I have observed that the soap message consisting of simple string value is not being encrypted. Infact it shows the entire soap envolope as unecrypted

      Can anybody provide some help?

      Regards
      John
