2. Re: Keeping the bean in request scope in Tab panel
mitesh May 24, 2007 4:56 PM (in response to pmohanan)I tried to use A4j:Keep Alive Tag but when i put this tag it shows me popup dialog saying
" View state couldnt be restore - reload page?"
and if i click on yes then it refresh the page it is not doing any validation or not even setting properties of the bean.
I have included page in rich:tabPabel like<rich:tabPanel switchType="ajax" > <rich:tab label="Page 1"> <a4j:include viewId="page1.jsp"></a4j:include> </rich:tab> <rich:tab label="Summary of Page 1"> <a4j:include viewId="../summary/SummaryOfPage1.jsp"></a4j:include> </rich:tab> </rich:tabPanel>
and in page 1 i have<f:subview id=".."> .. <a4j:keepAlive ajaxOnly="false" beanName="someBean"/> .. . . </f:subview>
Can any one please help me how can i solve this issue?
Thanks
Mitesh
