    Ann: New JMS/JBoss documentation

      Hi,
the new JMS/JBoss chapter in the manual has just
been released on the JBoss site.

This chapter covers introduction to JMS in general, JMS client programming with JBoss, MDB and JMS as a J2EE resource. It commes with several examples.

Before posting questions to this forum, be shure to read the manual first.

      Happy messaging!

      //Peter

Hey that's not fair! If they read the manual... they would not have any questions!!! :)

example files mentioned in the manual are not available in documentation_example.zip file. Can somebody please update the zip file. That will be of great help.

            Thank you

            Kevin

Thank you for your efforts. Good documentation *really* helps us newbies, and adds a lot of appeal & professionalism to a project.

Hi, OK should I say congrats or I am sorry? You have actually discovered a bug in the MDB container.

This has been fixed in the main branch, but when it will find it's way into 2.4.0 I do not know.

(The only fix for now is not to use setRollbackOnly, but to throw an EJBException - which will do exactly the same thing).

I am sorry to have caused this, because it is my fault.

I've downloaded the JBossMQ 1.0 Beta 1, and I get a NPE when trying to start the PersistenceManager and ConfigurationService. Without the PM MQ fails to accept messages.

Anyone know of a work around, or a place to get updated code. The code I'm running is the latest I could find on sourceforge. Is this problem known/fixed. If it is fixed in CVS, could someone roll this to Sourceforge?

                    Thanks,
                    Jim

PS: What it does it does very fast. Looks like a very promising product. Keep up the good work guys!
