OIL Too many open files issue...

This was an issue with the old jbossmq (pre 1.0) and I just wanted to mention that I am still eventually getting "Too many open files" when using OIL for the message connection factory. My client is a Linux box running Blackdown jdk 1.3 It appears that OIL is not cleaning up it's connections, when I close the client, I get a ton of connection cleanup messages on the server.
I simply changed to RMI and everything seems fine, just wanted to mention it.

Sorry if I have not explained this well enough, and I don't completely discount user (me) error.

I notice this error when I have a client sending fairly large object messages to the queue on an almost constant basis. After several hundred messages, the client gets a "too many open files" error. I'm pretty sure this problem is localized to Linux because it set's limits on how many streams can be open for a given user. When I shutdown the client I see log messages on the server that the connections are closing (several hundred again). This makes me think that the client is holding on to the open connections for some reason.

Ah.. are you doing multiple createQueueConnection()???
Are sure you are close() each connection??

I found a few places that could have cause connection leaks. I have fixed the problem on the CVS HEAD branch.. Could you test those changes out for me?

I am pretty sure I'm closing all the queue connections in my client, that was the first thing I thought of as well. I can definitely test your changes, I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks,
