kenati Jan 9, 2002 12:45 AM (in response to arjav_parikh)Hi
I am trying to do following :
I have JBoss on one machine and i want to run the client program from another machine. But i am not able to get the Jndi context for this other machine. It says some property missing.
JNDI lookup failed: javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to spe
cify class name in environment or system property, or as an applet para
meter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial
What is the initial context factory class to be used here.
Also What all things need to be there on the client machine ....i have jms.jar in the classpath.
Thanks in advance

arjav_parikh Jan 9, 2002 12:19 PM (in response to arjav_parikh)Please make sure of the following:
1) Make sure jndi.properties file is in the classpath where your client application can locate it.
2) if you have a remote client, uncomment provider url property and insert appropriate name/ip address
