aguevara Jan 29, 2002 11:45 AM (in response to aguevara)ohh that's excellent .... do I need any special configuration to activate the feature. With the std. config the messages are processed sequentially ...

pra Jan 30, 2002 3:07 AM (in response to aguevara)What do you mean by std.config. Are you speaking of the MDB impl of JBoss? Have you tested in on a dual CPU?
It should be consurrent, thats almost the whole point with it!

4. Re: concurrent message processing
sebaseba Jan 30, 2002 5:57 AM (in response to aguevara)Demo for concurrent processing:
Step (1)
Put a simple System.out.println into the ejbCreate() method of your MDB, including output of hashCode() to identify the instance.
Step (2)
Run some other piece of code to produce thousands of messages as quickly as possible.
Step (3)
Sit back and watch the JBoss console output. You will see how several instances of your MDB are created (around 10 on my machine).
