1. Re: to /queue or not to /queue?
schaefera Aug 6, 2002 4:56 AM (in response to winghoe)Hi
Where you specify the TOPIC (jbossmq-service.xml) or QUEUE you can set the attribute "JndiName" to your desired JNDI name.

2. Re: to /queue or not to /queue?
winghoe Aug 6, 2002 5:13 AM (in response to winghoe)I did specify it in such way, that is MyQueue and MyTopic, without the path queue/ or topic/.
However, during start up of JBoss 3, the console reported that both are being deployed to queue/MyQueue and topic/MyTopic.
Seems like it's hard coded isn't it?

3. Re: to /queue or not to /queue?
winghoe Aug 6, 2002 5:48 AM (in response to winghoe)I'm wondering if I can use the same NamingAlias mbean to create an alias to map
MyQueue to queue/MyQueue?

schaefera Aug 6, 2002 6:45 AM (in response to winghoe)Hi
You can map any JNDI name to another target as long as this name is not used beforehand otherwise you loose the other name and its object.

winghoe Aug 6, 2002 11:28 PM (in response to winghoe)Thanks Andy, tested it today a few times. It works!
Would be nice if this NamingAlias thingy can be added to the quick start guide. :)
