Your literature says the JBossMQ supports load balancing on P2P receiver queues. I couldn't find any details on the algorithm. Can the receivers be weighted, is it strictly round-robin? If it is configurable, how is this done? Also, I've seen pub/sub models that support load balancing. Are there any plans for JBossMQ to support this? P2P is durable by default, can this be disabled?
What are you're recommendations for synchronous I/O such as web requests into a JMS MOM for processing - P2P or pub/sub? If the pub/sub is not load balanced, I think we have to use queues. But, we certainly wouldn't want the requests to be persisted.
