Is it possible to use LocalTxManager for JMS

I am seeing that a lot of the JMS stuff uses XA ? Is this mandatory ? Does that mean that all our other resources such as Database need to be XA as well ? How do I configure JMS so as not to use XA ?

You lose nothing using XA jms.
If there is only the jms branch, the TM optimizes
to a local commit.
Changing jms to local won't fix the db
problem if it doesn't support two phase commit.
