DeploymentException: Exception setting attribute javax.manag

I went away for a week and when I got back JBoss was broke. I was told it "just broke" while somebody was doing "nothing". Anyway I don't know what happened and I can't figure out how to fix it. I reinstalled JBoss but it is still broke. It gives me this on startup:

I believe it to be an error parsing a file but I don't know what file.

Also I get many similar errors after that. I am using version 3.0.4

You have an invalid regular expresion
in server/default/conf/jboss-service.xml
in the config for
jboss:type=Service,name=SystemProperties

I fixed it. I found gnu-regexp-1.0.8.jar in the jdk/jre/lib/ext directory that somebody put in there. I removed it and it works find now.
