JMS Filter - Question..

If I have JMS topic connection configured with a filter running from a swing client is the filter applied on the client or server side?

I'm running JBoss 3.2.1 and JBoss 3.0.6. - if it makes any difference.

The filter works.. I'm just curious where it is being applied.

On the server.

I realized my incorrect terminology of using "filter" instead of selector after I posted. It was one of those "dooh!" moments.
