in jbossmq-state.xml

aberryjr Aug 31, 2003 1:06 PM (in response to aberryjr)That is the question. There is no password on this topic.
Below is a snippet of the client code:
public DurableSubscriber() {
TopicConnectionFactory topicConnectionFactory = null;
try {
topicConnectionFactory =
SampleUtilities.getTopicConnectionFactory();
topicConnection =
topicConnectionFactory.createTopicConnection();
topicConnection.setClientID("DurableSubscriberExample");
topicSession = topicConnection.createTopicSession(false,
Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
topic = SampleUtilities.getTopic(topicName, topicSession);
} catch (Exception e) {
System.out.println("Connection problem: " + e.toString());
if (topicConnection != null) {
try {
topicConnection.close();
} catch (JMSException ee) {}
}
System.exit(1);
}
}
Below is the jbossmq-state.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
john
needle
DurableSubscriberExample
guest
guest
nobody
nobody
dynsub
dynsub

above there is no password on DurableSubscriberExample.
Thanks,

john
needle
DurableSubscriberExample
I repeat, the client id is password protected.
Use createTopicConnect("john", "needle");
