JMS Auto-Reconnect Problem?

We have a JMS client that seems to be re-establishing connections to the server behind the scenes (in some sort of worker thread). Is there any way to disable this behaviour though an MBean or any other sort of configuration?

The reason is that we need to be able to flush our queues before re-establishing connection to the server.

Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

As a follow up question, is there a way for me to intercept the disconnection/reconnections and decide on processing myself rather than let the client do so? Some sort of listener?

You can install your own interceptor in the Invoker stack.
See JMSServerInterceptor.

The first invocation will be "authenticate", the close will
be "connectionClosing"

Great, that was exactly what I was looking for. Can you point me in the right direction as far as an example or description of how to do this? I can find this in the PDF documentation anywhere and the only other place I could find something was in a clustering thread.

Extend this interceptor
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/jboss/jbossmq/src/main/org/jboss/mq/server/JMSServerInterceptorSupport.java?annotate=1.1.4.1
to interceptor the methods required.

Install it in the invoker stack, see the TraceInterceptor in
jbossmq-service.xml for example.
