Any FAQ for JMS hang?

hello,

I am using JMS client to connect to jboss server. The client hang for a few times already. The sympton is that the client cannot receive message after some peak loading. But when i restart the client, it works again.

I implemented messagelistener and exceptionlistener etc. In onException method, i try to reconnect to the server.

I will keep trace this problem.

The env is:

RH9, IBM JVM 1.4.1 on the JMS client machine. Sun JVM 1.4.2 on the jboss server

Enable trace logging on the client.

Also use
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 on your RH9 machine.

Hi,

What does the following line mean? Native pthread support? I think it is already enabled even i didn't set this env variable because pstree command shows only one process instead of a lot of processes as in RH7.3.

export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
