1. Re: Overwhelming Ajax4JSF calls constructor
ilya_shaikovsky Aug 16, 2007 5:39 AM (in response to damianharvey)I think the problem is in the competitive requests. Please explore attributes that should optimize requests - eventQueue, requestDelay, ignoreDupResponces and timeout.

damianharvey Aug 16, 2007 5:42 AM (in response to damianharvey)Thanks Ilya. I'll try them out. But why does it cause the backing bean to be recreated?

3. Re: Overwhelming Ajax4JSF calls constructor
damianharvey Aug 22, 2007 5:34 AM (in response to damianharvey)I have tried these. My support tag looks like:
<a:support event="onchange" reRender="fromDest" ajaxSingle="true" eventsQueue="voyageQueue" timeout="1500" requestDelay="500" ignoreDupResponses="true"/>
But I can still overwhelm it and see the constructor getting called. Any suggestions? This is on an h:selectOneListbox and will only occur when a user gets trigger happy with the selections.
Thanks,
Damian.
