MDB-Errenous Message -Redelivery happening infinitely

MaxTimesRedelivered attribute is set in the standardjboss.xml as 2 for an MDB of type 'Standard Message Driven Bean',but when transaction rolls back(because of an exception in onMessage method),the message is redelivered to the MDB'S queue in an infinite fashion.(rather than moving the message to the dlq after 2 retries)

any suggestions why this is happening?

hi folks,
found out the problem,it lied the security configuration of DLQ which was not configured to let the message sender authorised to post any messages in it.
