1. Re: Two JBoss instances - one JMS table set
genman May 3, 2006 11:06 AM (in response to knorrmatthias)You have to have one server act as the server, the others as client.

2. Re: Two JBoss instances - one JMS table set
knorrmatthias May 3, 2006 12:22 PM (in response to knorrmatthias)Ah ok, I forgot to mention, all instances have deployed the same application and run like a cluster. So if one instance crashes the load will be "distribute" to the others. But I don't want to use clustering!
So it is not possible to use one instance as Server. If this server instance breaks down, the others are not able to use JMS.
Thanks for your answer, but I fear it doesn't solve my problem.

bviveiros Jul 19, 2006 4:53 PM (in response to knorrmatthias)Did you manage to find a solution to this? I have the same setup as you:
- 2 servers being load balanced, but hitting one database where the JMS tables reside.
- if one server crashes, the other is still available.
Thanks in advance.
