Does an alert acknowledge exists?

JOPR 2.2.0.GA

In the e-mail alert notification, there is a link to the alert page, in this page user can only delete the alert. This is quite drastic since the alert disappear from history.
Does a sort of acknowledge exist in JON? I would be able to log the acknowledge without delete the alert.

Unfortunately this is not yet possible. I think we have an open jira about it, but can't find it at the moment.
There is another one, http://jira.rhq-project.org/browse/RHQ-1904 that talks about something similar
