Expected behaviour after deleting a JMS topic or queue

When the console is deployed to JBAS 4.2.x, after deleting a topic or queue, the corresponding entry is removed from the -service.xml file. Is the same behaviour expected when the console is deployed to JBAS 5? (i.e. should the -service.xml file be updated after deletion when using JBAS 5?)
