Hi,
I am new to JBoss and J2EE. I am trying design a system that allows users to schedule a sequence of services to be performed in the future via the web. The interface to these services may be in CORBA or JCA or RMI. I am wondering if J2EE/JBoss is a good solution for this. The JBoss scheduler mbean sounds like something I can use, but I am not sure if I am on the right track. Does the mbean have to execute outside of the container? Any examples or existing simple designs?
