1. Re: can an mbean and an ejb jar share code
adrian.brock May 1, 2002 5:39 AM (in response to fstarsinic)With 3.0 you can specify an MBean dependency
on the ejb module. You can see the ejb modules
on port 8082
With the dependency, the MBean won't start until
the ejb is created.

fstarsinic May 1, 2002 11:34 AM (in response to fstarsinic)wow, that's cool. i'll have to give that a try.
i'm not sure how soon we can upgrade to that
version. i'll have to check out the jboss site
more on how stable jboss 3.0 is.
thanks,

4. Re: can an mbean and an ejb jar share code
adrian.brock Jun 27, 2002 4:13 PM (in response to fstarsinic)Use url http://localhost:8082 this will give you a list
of mbeans in the server.
You will see each ejb module has an MBean. You can then
place a dependency in your scheduler on that MBean so it
is started after the ejb.
e.g. If you wanted your scheduler to start after
ejb-manangement.jar, you would add
service=EjbModule,url=file%/jboss/server/default/deploy/ejb-management.jar
