Restarting DefaultDS mbean

Using jboss 2.4.3, I ran the default configuration and, using the JMX HTML adapter running on port 8082, attempted to stop and start the DefaultDS. This resulted in a NullPointerException mbean failure.

Is this a known bug, and is there any workaround that would enable me to dynamically configure my datasources at runtime without bouncing jboss?

I knew about it a long time ago and thought I fixed it. Is it still a problem in a current jboss version? (2.4.4 or 2.4.5?)

It seems to stop and start fine in 2.4.4, thanks.

We have 2.4.3 in production now. Should I be on the lookout for any particular gotchas moving to 2.4.4?
