4. Re: a4j:support not working for h:selectOneMenu
powerhouse_b Feb 29, 2008 8:46 AM (in response to powerhouse_b)I am using firefox. And ... made a mistake there ..., i wrote rendered. I now corrected to reRender, the request is made, but the selectedVariableType is not set (in the beginning it is null and remains that way)

5. Re: a4j:support not working for h:selectOneMenu
powerhouse_b Mar 4, 2008 6:23 AM (in response to powerhouse_b)Please help :| I am stuck. I will also post the java code, maybe someone sees a mistake.
@Stateful @Name("formulaHelper") public class FormuleHelper implements FormuleHelperLocal, FormuleHelperRemote{ @EJB BasicDataGetterLocal basicGetterBean; private Tipvariabile selectedVariableType; private Variabile selectedVariabile; private List<Tipvariabile> lista; private List<Variabile> listaVariabile; public List<Tipvariabile> getLista() { if (listaa == null) { listaa = (List<Tipvariabile>)basicGetterBean.simpleSelectQuery("select tipvariabile from Tipvariabile tipvariabile"); System.out.println("am facut get, " + listaa.get(0).getClass()); } else System.out.println("nu era null, am returnat asa"); return listaa; } ...
The problem is that the selected value from the first combo is not set in the backing bean, it is always null :(.
