User defined Notifications and XMBean

Hi,

How can one link the operations and notifications declared in the XMBean definition XML file?

In other words, if I had some user defined notifications in XMBean's XML file and I have defined operation in the same file and I want that operation to emit that notification, how can I do that?

Does that mean XMBean managed operations cannot throw Notifications?

That would be strange.

Just send a notification from your operation implementation.

It's easy to do what you want with an easy-to-write custom interceptor. However, xmbean interceptors are currently hardcoded, so there'd be no easy way of inserting your interceptor in the chain. However, I think Adrian is working on making the interceptor chains configurable.
