start() method called unexpectedly during deploying

I have a mbean with default constructor and start() method. I only expect the constructor is called during deploying. But start() method is called too. How to understand this?

the other methods that are called are preregister, postregister.

create start stop destroy are part of the jboss service lifecycle

preRegister postRegister preDeregister postDeregister are part of the mbean registration lifecycle defined by MBeanRegistration interface your MBean may implement
