Writing MBean interface

Hi,

When I write a Service, should i declare a variable OBJECT_NAME in my MBean interface?
For e.g., the MBeans like MainDeployerMBean, EARDeployerMBean and other mbeans have these variable.
What is the purpose and use of this variable?

It is not mandatory. It was used as the object name to implement the service getName() method but I don't know if it's even used anywhere anymore.
