Bad verifier warning message

JBoss 3.2.1, jdk 1.4.1_03, Linux RedHat 9

The following warning is issued:
<bean name ref> found in jboss-web.xml but not in web.xml.
It is nothing wrong with the beans declaration in both jboss-web.xml and web.xml. The application is actually deployed and functional including the bean reported as not been found in web.xml.
