    Managing an unfamiliar deployment

I've been developing a management application that generates a 3d visualisation based on the management model exposed by the jsr77 MEJB.

The idea is to give an intuitive representation of a j2ee deployment where the deployment may not be familiar to the viewer.

My website includes java3d based demo applets:

Following a show of interest I put together a dmeo applet to illustrate how logging interceptors might be managed through such a model:

      ...and a snapshot:

Having worked for many years in the telecoms management industry I'm trying to get some feedback from the jboss and the open source j2ee community as to whether this type of tool could be of use in the day to day management of j2ee based systems.

      Any ideas?
