    Managing Application

    thegopher

      Hello Everyone

I am a new Jboss user. I have a few years of experience in general Java programming and have just started developing J2EE web application with Jboss in the last couple of months.

I am trying to find administration tools to manage and monitor the status of my servlets and EJBs during run time. I want to be able to detect things such as the number of actives beans, resource deadlocks and current database connection pool size.

I have looked at JMX-Console, Web-console and the Opentier console. I can readily find deployment information but I have found it difficult to retrieve application administration information from them.

Can anyone recommend tools for administering Jboss or provide advice/tips on using the current tools?

      Many thanks in advance.
