Is there a way to keep eveyone from accessing the http://localhost:8080/jmx-console/index.jsp file on my server? In otherwords I dont want everyone accessing the jmx console installed with nukes.

2. Re: jmx-console/index.jsp security
jae77 Mar 11, 2004 7:53 PM (in response to thepriz)yes - it is possible to secure the jmx-console.
you have to edit the two xml files in the jmx-console.war 's META-INF directory.
the files are pretty well commented, so you should be able to follow along easily.
i highly recommend purchasing the jboss documentation - this topic is coverred in more detail there, and it's packed w/ tons of other good stuff. -

thepriz Mar 14, 2004 3:59 PM (in response to thepriz)Sorry, I feel stupid now. My company has bought the JBoss documentation but I just haven't read it yet. Thanks for your help. I will try to get some time to read the documentation.
Thanks,
