Cannot view my MBean in JMX-console

I am registering a new MBean dynamically with the MBean server, I can access the mbean methods after registering in my client program, however I do not see this bean in the JMX-console . Am I missing something ?

Appreciate any information.

It should show up on jmx-console. Are you sure you're not registering the MBean on the client side? Show the code.

Well, this is a typical mistake. You need to create your MBean *on the server side* and access it from the client. You are just creating a local mbean on the client side, so it's normal you see nothing on the jmx-console.

To create an MBean (or service in jboss jargon) the jboss style and deploy it on the server, see
