If you just want to get traps across, without a MIB generated, then it's relatively easy to configure the existing adapter:

ericcartman13 May 13, 2005 3:15 AM (in response to ericcartman13)Thank you for your reply. Even though I needed to just simply forward the incoming JMX Messages to SNMP, I had to read on SNMP a bit to understand the terms.
I used AdventNet's Free SNMP API to do that and everything is OK for now.

The support for JBoss 4.x is not available with 'Adventnet Snmp Adaptor for JMX 5.0' base version.
It will be available in next our patch (to be released soon).

If needed , we will send you the early access of the patch supporting JBoss 4.
