1. Re: JBoss 3.0 Product Development Timeline
alanlewis Feb 22, 2002 4:50 PM (in response to wherestheprocess)I can't comment on the "release schedule", and I'll resist the urge to try and argue with you about schedules, but the first Beta was released yesterday. You can download it from Sourceforge, since the JBoss website does not link to it yet. The following URL should work:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&release_id=62219 -

marc.fleury Feb 24, 2002 12:35 PM (in response to wherestheprocess)and if you want timelines you pay. Other than that go root for someone else,
that is just the way we work, for anything else there is BEA.

tbfmicke Feb 24, 2002 4:12 PM (in response to wherestheprocess)My 0.02 cents (or whatever)
Even if there was a schedule for 3.0, would you
dare to bet your own product on it? Would you dare
to bet the product on a schedule from any vendor,
commercial or not?
If you have a timeline for July, you should chose
between servers available now, Weblogic 6.1 or
Jboss 2.4 (and others of course). Not between what
might or might not appear (Weblogic 7.0/JBoss 3.0/
SuperServer 2002). -
