jboss 3.0 ConnectException (linux)

I just installed jboss 3.0 and started it and pushed a Session bean that i KNOW works on 2.4 into the 3.0 deploy directory. Then i ran the client on another linux box and i get a ConnectException. I know that everything is set up correctly, cause it works fine in the same enviroment as soon as turn on the old 2.4 jboss on the server.

I used to get this Exception alllll the time before when i was working with RMI stuff. It only seems to show up in Linux for some reason. I actually MAKE a connection to the linux box running the server, BUT the server thinks that it's IP is 127.0.0.1. and makes the client think that.

has anyone else had this problem???

I'm seeing this error with 2.4.3, could someone shed some light here?

Seeing the same thing with 2.4.3, works with Win2k but not Linux HELP!

I believe the problem is with the WebService configuration Codebase set to: http://yemi:8083/(My own setting) in 3.0.

In the previous version of JBoss you had to edit the jboss.properties file but it usage of this file has been deprecated.
