Apache + Tomcat + JBoss

My company is trying to hard to deploy JBoss in place of JRun, but we are running into a problem w/Apache. The JBoss 2.4.3 + Tomcat 3.2.3 bundle is working very well for us, but when we try to add Apache into the mix (for serving all the static content such as images, css and javascript includes) we get intermittent 500 errors with no output into any log file. I've tried cranking all the logfile to verbose, but nothing seems to want to point a finger for us.

There is some mention of setting up Apache w/Catalina in the pay documentation, but nowhere can I find mention of adding Apache to the front end of the aforementioned bundle. Can someone give me a hint as to what I need to be looking for?

Hello, I'm quite new in this environment. It seems that I'm having the same problem as you. I can make tomcat to work with JBOSS (on port 8080) but I don't seem to be able to put Apache in front of it. I can make apache to work together with tomcat (but that's only for the webapps in the directory of Tomcat).
Can you send me an email in case you get any reply to your problem. (the setup I'm using is Apache 1.3.22, Tomcat 3.2.3 and Jboss 2.4.3)

I can get Tomcat and Apache to talk but not jboss-3.0.0_tomcat-4.0.3 and Apache to talk.

Help is would be nice. Thanks.
